Trustee Alarms began in December 1978 with a simple promise: deliver reliable protection and straightforward service to local businesses and homes. Word spread, relationships grew, and the name “Trustee” became a familiar sight across South London and Kent. 
Four decades later, in 2018, Nick & Tony brought a combined 40+ years of fire & security experience to the business.

With the right mindset and a shared, motivated effort, they took the reins, renamed the company Trustee Fire & Security, and introduced a bold new brand.
This marked the start of a new Trustee era, energising our team and renewing our commitment to protecting what matters most.

Operations ran from Catford as the team expanded and the workload increased. Consistent growth in customers and staff soon made the original office too small, so in May 2021 we moved to Orpington into a larger office and warehouse facility. The extra space let us scale our engineering teams, stock more equipment, and turn projects around faster.
			 
			Today, Trustee Fire & Security supports organisations and homeowners across the region with design, installation, and maintenance of life safety and security systems. With up to 120 team members and counting, we’re focused on training, service quality, and long-term partnerships, building on the values that started the company in 1978 and carrying them into the future.
