Trustee Funding Support – Funding & Fundraising Policy (TFS)

What we fund: UK registered charities and CICs (limited by guarantee) advancing safety, wellbeing, and local need. No grants to individuals or political parties.

Grants: Typical awards £500–£5,000. Funds are restricted to the approved purpose. Unspent money rolls forward.

How to apply: Email us : info@trusteefiresecurity.com, we will provide a short form. We make decisions quarterly, emergencies considered ad hoc.

Due diligence: We verify charity/CIC status, governance, bank details, and safeguarding where relevant.

Transparency: We publish an annual list of grants and an impact note.

Staff donations: TFS offers match-funding for employee donations to eligible charities, up to £1,000 per tax year, subject to an annual company cap and available budget. Receipts or payroll-giving confirmations required.

Fundraising rules: We follow the UK Code of Fundraising Practice. For raffles/lotteries we obtain local small society lottery registration when required.

Sponsorship vs donations: Where TFS or Trustee Fire & Security receives a promotional benefit, support may be treated as sponsorship rather than a charitable donation.

Data: We process personal data lawfully and minimally, and we provide a privacy notice for applicants and donors.
