Bionik Barrier System
A simple user guide for operating and maintaining your Roger Technology Bionik automatic barrier system. This guide covers daily operation, safety features, emergency release, power failure procedures and basic troubleshooting.
How to use
the barrier
Follow these simple steps for safe, everyday operation.
1. Approach slowly
Drive towards the barrier at a safe speed
2. Wait for authorisation
Use your remote, fob, intercom, ANPR system, push button or vehicle loop
3. Allow the arm to fully open
Do not move forward until the barrier arm has fully raised
4. Proceed Carefully
Drive through the access point safely
5. Automatic closing
The barrier will close automatically after the vehicle has passed

Important Safety Instructions
Do
√ – Wait until the barrier arm is fully open before moving forward.
√ – Report unusual noises, movement or damage immediately.

X – Do not force the barrier manually.
X – Do not continue using the barrier after impact damage or malfunction.

Manual Release Procedure
2 – Locate the manual release mechanism.
3 – Use the release key or lever as instructed by the installer.
4 – Move the barrier arm slowly by hand.

2 – Re-engage the motor mechanism.
3 – Restore Power.
4 – Test the barrier carefully before normal use.

During A Power Failure
‣ – Battery backup may continue if fitted.
‣ – Manual release may be required.
‣ – Battery runtime is limited and performance may reduce when low.

Barrier Troubleshooting
