This month a little bit of bad language has gone a long way for a great cause.

The team took part in a Naughty Word Jar Challenge, where every naughty word spoken cost 50p. To make things even more entertaining, the person with the highest total at the end of the month had to wear the Naughty Hat for the day.

This month’s clear “Winner” or shall we say… Loser, was Anthony, who racked up an impressive 10 naughty words during March. Hot on his heels was Dean in second place, with Jo taking third. While Anthony may have claimed the Naughty Hat for the day, all the money raised has been donated to Red Nose Day in support of Comic Relief, helping people who need it most.

Anthony took his defeat in good spirits and fully embraced his new headwear, saying:

“I regret nothing, as the money raised has gone to those in need. Maybe I should have said more naughty words thinking about it.”

Although he has vowed to be a little less naughty going forward, the team will no doubt be keeping a close eye on next month’s leaderboard. As today was “Fun Friday”, even more money will be added to the donation pot as each member of staff has donated £5 to wear their own clothes and leave an hour earlier!
