Last Friday we brought Fun Fridays to life with an office wide darts tournament, hosted in our newly completed games & lounge area. It was our first tournament in there… and it didn’t disappoint!
Once a month we have a dress down, charity day held on Fun Fridays. This month, Kacie nominated the RNLI, who are funded almost entirely by public support, providing life-saving assistance to anyone in danger along the UK and Irish coasts. Everyone who contributed was able to dress down and finish at 4:00 PM.
The tournament itself was a straight knock out format, which meant every match mattered. There were plenty of close games and a few surprise results! *COUGH* Clare beating Nick *COUGH*
For the Final, the team gathered to watch William take on Anthony. Anthony was looking like the clear winner… but William the Conqueror come back from what looked like a quick defeat and turned the final into an incredible spectacle. He snatched victory from Anthony’s grasp and shrugged his shoulders like it was nothing.
It was a great morale booster and proper fun throughout the day. We will be running more tournaments going forward, including a pool tournament and a table tennis tournament.
Nick is also taking any challengers for a darts game if you fancy it!
