What is National Opportunity Day?

Founded by Glasgow Kelvin College, it was created to help people see the education, training and work-based pathways that can open a future at any stage of life.

This idea is part of our everyday work. Our apprenticeships give people the chance to learn a skilled trade in real environments, with real customers, real standards and real responsibility.

Harry has recently completed an install from start to finish on his own, and anyone in fire and security knows what that means. It means planning the work, keeping it tidy, testing it properly, handing it over, and having the confidence to take responsibility.

That is exactly why we believe in apprenticeships.

We’re proud of Harry because his progress shows what happens when someone is given proper support, proper responsibility and the chance to learn on the job. For us, opportunity looks like this: a young engineer trusted on site, doing good work, and growing into someone our customers can rely on.
