Celebrating International Day of Friendship

Today, we’re celebrating a friendship that sits right at the heart of Trustee Fire & Security: the long-standing relationship between our company directors, Nick and Tony.

Nick and Tony first met at around eight years old, when Nick and his older brother were playing cricket on a field and Tony asked if he could join in. From that simple childhood moment, their friendship has blossomed since.

Over the years, their paths continued to run alongside each other. They worked together through Wrights Security, ADT, Premier, sales roles at ADT, and Ace, building experience, trust, and a shared understanding of the industry along the way.

In 2017, they began discussing the idea of building a business together. By July 2018, Trustee Fire & Security was founded.
Since then, the company has grown year on year, built on the same values that have shaped Nick and Tony’s friendship from the beginning: trust, loyalty, hard work, and a shared commitment to doing things properly.

Their connection goes far beyond business. They have stood beside each other through major life moments, including best man duties, and Tony is godfather to Nick’s son, Ronnie.

As we mark International Day of Friendship, we’re proud to celebrate the story behind Trustee Fire & Security: two childhood friends who grew up together, worked together, and went on to build a successful company together. It’s a reminder that some of the strongest businesses are built on something very human: friendship, trust, and the belief that you can go further together.
